Me- black and white. My best days are in jeans, a t-shirt and Frye boots. Now, this is not a plug for Frye, but, I must ask, “are there any other boots worthy of hacking about and then transitioning to making a debut at a five star restaurant?”  I think not.

I am a wife, mother, and Bubba; which is code for grandma.  I tried to be much more elegant, and cause my grandson to call me “bebe”, but he would have it no other way- so Bubba it is and will remain!

I also am a Bible teacher and speaker at women’s conferences. This is a passion of mine. I adore bringing Truth to women so they may find who they are in Jesus Christ. There is no other identity that is more magnificent or excellent, than simply being the ‘you’ He called you to be.

In this blog, I hope you find Truth, I hope you find transparency. I hope you find you…

    • Hahahaa!! Why, thank you!- I adore being a grandma! What a blessing from the Lord…You get a completely new revelation of God’s heart of love with grand babies!! In fact two of them just left…I’m sitting here with my feet propped up! 🙂

      • that is awesome. i heard a pastor recently talking about how much your love and view of God’s love intensifies with grandkids n how if sin never entered the world, just imagine how intense a love adam n eve would’ve had n been cultivating as they had great, great, great, great, great…u get the point..lol. good stuff!

      • oh how true! As I continue through this “Arise My Love” series, we see how Eve lived after her disobedience…fully engaged in God and her family!

  6. I wanted to leave a response to your Not So (Small) Story, but I couldn’t figure out where to comment. Anyway, I loved the post! There’s nothing like being with people you can be transparent with–the bunco group I belonged to for three years was like that–we met once a month and became a community…and I was the misfit, but it was ok with them. Oh that we could sit at the feet of Jesus more often and stop trying to take his place at the table!

    • I will have to check the comment section out! Hmmm…The Little House on Willow was actually my place of employment, and not the name of the place. When I began to write this piece, I contacted the gals I worked with and asked them if I could call them pagans…I got an overwhelming “yes’! Ha! Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it; and I so wish I could find a community of people like that again…but, that place was a kiss from Heaven right on my forehead!

  7. Hey! I’m visiting from the linky as well, but couldn’t find comments. I’m not sure if you’re on twitter or not, but I shared up there! My handle is @kikimojo if you are. I loved reading your post and think it’s something so huge for people to read.

    • Thank you for visiting!! I got it fixed! geez…:) I am on twitter, and I will post this on it…thank you and I will look you up- since I am new to twitter, I have to look up my handle. Will I ever fit in to this techy world!
